I’m a longterm Moooi customer and own multiple chandeliers, vases etc. I’ve supported their products through their distributors such as Design Within Reach as well. That said, I finally learned what it is like dealing with Moooi currently. I ordered a lamp for around $2400 online. Realizing it would be too big for my space I emailed them the next day to cancel the order. I’ve been a customer here for years. Something has dramatically changed currently. For the last several weeks they do not respond to email, answer the phone, or return phone calls. All of the various phone options are dead ends with no answer. They owe me a refund for a cancelled order that was verified in writing after telling me I would receive it in 7-10 days. A complete nightmare! The worst online shopping experience of my life was with Moooi New York. Delivery was delayed. When the lamp finally arrived it was disappointing because it seems like a cheap product. I have been trying to get the information for return, for two weeks but they refuse to answer me with return address and return forms. I am extremely angry with everyone I have communicated with, and with the lack of respect towards their clients.
