Unlicensed therapists, staff ignoring huge medical issues, forcing us not to use the bathroom until we pee our pants (then were forced to wear diapers or sit on doggy pee pads), verbal abuse, and psychological manipulation. They will tell you all students pretend the program is abusive, they will tell you your kid will kill herself without Moonridge. These are lies. They are abusing children.
This place traumatized me. A girl with autism was regularly restrained for not leaving a room or for spinning around in one spot. Restraints are only supposed to be used when someone is being unsafe. She was not being unsafe. One girl almost died because she had anemia and was told she was faking it when she told staff she was sick. I was overfed to the point that I puked.
