MONY paid out a life ins claim on my dad without issue. Just called the agent who sold him the policy, sent in few forms and the check arrived in a couple weeks. A+ experience for me.
My Mother has had this company for me for over 30 years... Well we surrendered the policy and they said it should take 7-10 business days to process... I called today at day 12 and still processing and the chick on the phone had no info on why or anything. She will be a note on the account to have someone do research on the account to tell me whats going on.. I am like why cant you transfer me to this person, they cant and i will be waiting either a day or 2 to get a call back!!!!
I have called this company for the last five years about my mother and father‘s life insurance policy. Every time I call I’m hung up, or someone answers that has no answer and transfers your call! You cannot get a live person on the phone!!!!!!!This whole company is a damn scam!!!!! My parents worked their entire life to pay this policy and no one calls you back!! You should be ASHAMED of yourself MONY LIFE INSURANCE!!
It has been almost one year since my father passed. Repeated calling and the customer reps always say the same thing that they have everything they need. Your claim specialist will never speak to you on the phone. Everything is done through emails and letters. After paying on an insurance policy for over 40 years, the time to collect is here and these people have been stonewalling and foot-dragging for weeks. Stay as far away as possible from this awful company. Their "customer service" dept. (when you can get a human) is a joke that exists only to mollify you with useless, empty promises about "action" on your account while MONY collects interest on the money they owe you. Time to call the Jefferson Co. Attorney Gen'ls office....
