Montserrat Retreat house is a beautiful place to spend time with the Lord in a special way. A few days break from the ordinary life, to embrace silence and to hear the Lords voice. It is clean, comfortable and peaceful. The food is good, the spiritual direction talks are good. The lake is beautiful, the grounds are well kept. Will definitely come back again.
A place to go for quiet
It´s been some years since I have been here but I am looking forward to eventually returning. The crucifix as you enter the center is a spot I enjoy spending time contemplating and finding stillness in.The rooms are a wonderful venture into what a nun´s life would entail, they provide a simple entrance into the soul during a time when technology and distractions are capturing the human spirit.
