What an uplifting experience I had at the men’s silent retreat. Before arriving, I expected to have a nice quiet getaway. What I got was, far beyond. This retreat changed mine, and can change your life. Fathers Pepe and Vo, thank you for your time and your commitment. It reaches beyond words.

I attended a silent retreat at Montserrat in March. I had never done anything like that before. It was a great experience - a wonderful way to refocus on God and spend undistracted time in prayer. I'm grateful for the spiritual direction provided by Father Vo during my retreat.

I try to go here for an annual silent retreat to re-center myself. The priests are insightful. They change the retreat theme yearly and follow St. Ignatius' Spiritual Exercises. The area is beautiful with the lake, many trees, flowers, plants, etc. You can wander and ponder on God's beautiful creation here. The facilities are nice and clean. They provide hot meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The bedrooms are also nice and clean with your own bathroom.
