I have been with Robert for years, along with many family members. We all loved him. You went in feeling like a friend and left with taxes filed or whatever you needed done. However since he has retired and sold to True North, you went from feeling like a friend to feeling like a number. For the first time I left the office with nothing filed. They took over for an amazing accountant, Robert Montgomery when they bought the practice last year. The communication was horrible. They failed to file our business taxes and never filed an extension after they assured us if they couldn’t finish them, they would. We called an emailed daily assuring us Nick would call back. It was months past the extension when he finally called back and said, “ I don’t think we filed an extension because I can’t find any paper trail.” We have never seen such unprofessionalism. SHADY, UNTRUSTWORTHY & DISRESPECTFUL. This place has gone down hill and the workers at this office are not professionally trained. After leaving their office frustrated, I received a call from a male worker who yelled at me and refused to give me back the copies of my information that they took! Terrible. Hopefully they go out of business.
Robert has be fantastic to work with but since he sold his business, I am very concern about how the business has been running lately and hardly see the new owner at the office. The phone system is horrible compared to when Robert was still running the business. Will give them time to iron it out due to moving the office out expectantly.
They use to be really good and comunicative, I have done my taxes with them for 4 years in a row. Not sure what is happening this year with them, But they do not answer my emails and do not address my concerns. I am really sad that I need to look for another CPA because I really enjoyed working with them the previous years.
