Love This Store I have been going to this store since shortly after they opened. I have always found them willing to help. They are very patient with both "novice" and "pro" knitters and never too busy to drop what they are doing to help you. You are always welcome to come in and sit and knit and visit. I have met several fellow knitters this way..They have a beautiful selection of yarn and strive to keep the prices as low as possible for their high quality products. Judi I have been a customer of Monterey Yarn for the several years that I have been knitting and I would have stopped if not for Kathy. She has helped me through every project that I have undertaken and most times has sat by my side while I learned each and every stitch. Kathy and Julie are always so helpful when anyone comes into the store and they know their customers by name which always amazes me. LOVE this store I could rave about this store for years. I went into this store with my mom, who knits scarves and I came out a knitter myself! They have the most awesome yarns and you just want to buy one of each becasue they are so great. They aren't your normal craft store yarns, these are quality yarns. So now I knit...not very well. But their staff with teach you how to knit too, which is nice. The prices are a little high, but all they sell is yarn, so I guess I understand why.
