I have worked with the Montana Wilderness School for the past few years, but it has been in my sights for much longer than that. As a former outdoor educator working with Outward Bound, MWS is the closest thing to finding a local school that serves local teens. In fact, it's the only one of its kind serving Montana directly. As a teenager who didn't quite fit in, this would have been such an incredible community to become involved with; people my age who are all curious to learn about outdoor technical skills and backcountry... read more
