We had such a peaceful getaway with our dog. The cabin was super cozy (so warm!), the equipment provided was very handy and we got detailed instructions to make the most of it. We especially appreciated being steps away from the trails from our cabin and the gorgeous view of the lake. The access to showers after our long hike was especially lovely. A perfect late winter getaway.
There was a lot to enjoy about our visit to the park. The scenery was absolutely amazing, and the view from our cabin was breathtaking. The cabins themselves are top notch; perfectly insulated and with windows placed for great airflow. I think our groups biggest highlight was the scenery through the R1 trail past the cabins themselves. Très belle expérience, vraiment 10/10. Je compte revenir en automne ou en été. Petit point à améliorer : en hiver il y a pas mal de risques d’accidents, et la cabane 11 est assez éloignée du pavillon. Il n’y avait pas de trousse de premiers soins, ce qui peut poser problème en cas d’urgence. Merci de prendre cela en considération.
La randonnée en hiver est superbe. Les raquettes sont nécessaires pour ceux qui traînent le tobogan !! Je suis allée avec mes deux enfants. Chacun leur sac de linge avec oreiller dans un sac deux rando. J’ai traîné mon sac avec en plus des doudous. Dans le toboggan il y avait la nourritures, le bois et l’eau. C’était lourd !!!! Mais au combien satisfaisant d’arriver et de voir le refuge … WOW. Moment magique avec mes enfants, vue incroyable avec la plateforme autour d’un arbre !!!!!! Je recommande sans hésiter 😍
