While attending, I was assisted by Ms. Virgo, and unfortunately, I did not find the support I expected. When inquiring about the program of interest, the information provided seemed incomplete, and she asked why I was asking certain questions related to the program and potential experience there. I found this approach concerning, as asking questions is a fundamental part of the learning process. Everyone is so willing to help you achieve e your goals. No dept. within the university leaves students to fend for themselves. From admissions, to career counseling and advising in between and go above and beyond. I have in my four years of studying at monroe not only attained a BA starting at barely a high school diploma but have had the opportunity to engage with professors with different backgrounds, expertise and networks. I look forward to pursuing my masters at monroe in 2026
