This is egrand mom of eight, mother of four and married for 49 years with the father of my children, and grandfather of my grandchildren. I have a lot to to say about Monogram Makers: Please, do not go there, run away from that shop. I took over there a beautifull handkerchief just to put a word and the date. They have good service, but I wish they would offer more monogram styles similar to the non-interlocking and diamond.
DO NOT GO HERE!! – DO NOT GO HERE unless you want your stuff to be ruined and to be treated terribly! I took two of my daughters' dresses to get monogramed and one of them they took out an existing monogram. Promised them for my daughter's first birthday then was told they would be ready a week after her birthday when I called. When I picked up they not only RUINED one of my daughter's dresses by putting huge HOLES in it and then they monogrammed the WRONG font on both dresses. This customer brought in a dress which had already been monogrammed and asked for it to be removed. We agreed to remove it and she understood that removing it might cause damage to the garment. The holes were small and covered up by the new monogram. The monogram style she wanted was from another company but we did one that was almost exactly the same which she saw and approved when placing her order. RUINED MY SON'S BEDDING – They RUINED my son's bedding by embroidering his name so crookedly, it couldn't even pass for a mistake. Spoke to the owner and was told, "Oh well, too bad". Took over a week, absolutely HORRIBLE, and not even so much as an apology, much less an offer to fix it. If it were possible to have given a rating less than one star, I would have given zero.
EXCELLENT MONOGRAMER – YOLANDA FROM "CHILDREN'S COLLECTIONS" 5219 BELLAIRE BLVD. SOLD ME DIAPER COVERS AND I NEEDED 4 MORE AND SENT ME HERE AS SHE HAS KNOWN THE OWNER 20 YEARS. HE HAD WHAT I NEEDED PLUS HAD WONDERFUL DESIGNS FOR MONOGRAMMING. A GREAT SELECTION OF GIFT ITEMS FOR MY STAFF AT WORK, I DROVE FROM BELLAIRE BUT THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK IS WORTH THE DRIVE. THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL, AND FRIENDLY.
Great gift selections – I wanted something unique for a baptimal and Yolanda from Second Childhood on Fountainview sent me to meet her friend at this shop and he had the best gift items for my needs. A unique shop and he monagramed the gift and had it wrapped for me!! I was thrilled!!!!
This place gets orders wrong and has terrible service – I took in 10 shirts to have monogrammed. It was very difficult to get waited on as they seem to have new staff that are not well trained. Finally the store owner helped me himself. For two of the shirts which were plaid, he recommended a certain kind of monogram and told me it would look great.
