Monkee's was founded on the ideals of fashion, fun & friendship! The first Monkee's location was opened in 1995 in Wilmington, NC. In 2008 Monkee's of Fredericksburg opened its doors with the idea of bringing great fashion to Fredericksburg & customer focused service. I was privileged to be hired in Oct 2008 & purchased the store in July 2013. Retail is definitely in my blood. Today I went in looking for a dress for a dance. Both women who helped me find something were unbelievably nice and helpful. I usually don’t stop to make reviews but I left feeling valued and important. Shout out to both women who worked today. You guys rock!
This is my go-to shop to grab the wife gifts. They staff are super nice. They are not pushy. They are definitely not snooty. Their selection varies by season and they have limited selections; it is what it is. Expect to pay, but in return you are getting high quality. The brands they carry make quality clothes and jewelry. Have to plug the staff again. Super nice and welcoming to both women and guys. Keep up the great work!

Went in this past week and everyone was so kind and helpful! I came in for one thing which was a dress I saw on their insta and fell in love with it! Love how everyone had a welcoming smile! Will be back soon 😊
