Average Camera Shop I have been to Monell's a few times. Their equipment, service and the prints they do are of excellent quality. They are knowledgeable about photography and are always helpful. Unfortunately I stopped going there because I found them more expensive than other shops. Otherwise they are good!
Beware of their no refund policy. very nice place, knowledgeable staff but they are much, much more expensive than other camera stores. They don't price match. In addition they don't have a refund policy.
Traditional Photography Resource One of the few local stores that carries traditional photography supplies. You may need to pay a little more, but supporting the smaller businesses feels good - and they have good customer service so it makes it worthwhile.
Great place, but the store burned down eleven years ago and to my knowledge has not been rebuilt.
I needed passport size photos for an application. Previously, I had been to Walmart and then to Sears. My application institution rejected those photos because they were overexposed. I called Monnell's--I was delighted they were still in business, conveniently moved to near the Dairy Queen--and came in that day to get two passport photos. The pictures were EXCELLENT--much better exposed than the others--and then the price he charged was almost HALF what the other places were charging. VERY PRICEY nice store with friendly staff. Store does not offer competitive pricing and does not have a refund policy like other camera shops do.
