I've always enjoyed visiting spas while traveling abroad, but this was my first genuine spa experience in the UK, and I must say it was absolutely perfect. My husband had bought me a gift voucher for Christmas and I had been waiting a long time to experience the use of this spa. I decided to book it for my birthday treat. The customer service was terrible from start to finish. Amy the manager was so rude when we complained that our treatment times had been moved and hadn’t been told about this prior to our arrival. I visited Monart Spa in Poundbury for a facial and it was genuinely excellent. The spa opens into a beautifully calm, adult-only space with robes, slippers and a very thoughtful thermal suite that includes a hydrotherapy pool, sanarium, caldarium, sauna, salt grotto, infrared-pro cabin and aroma steam room - all designed to help you unwind rather than just tick a box.
