Molly is a listed notary on file with BC, but is refusing to notarize my criminal record check because she wants to charge me $350 to walk to the post office to send it in herself, and is asking me to talk to other notaries. Notaries have an obligation to notarize single documents, and the cost should be ~$30 to do this. But instead she is refusing this service because she wants the 10x markup to get it authenticated, which literally requires sending a singular mail.
