Update Dec 13: Still no response from this outfit. 7 weeks now since order cancellation and theyre giving me silence. Just so its clear, the definition of - **Lead Time** is "the time it takes to complete production process, to finished product DELIVERY". If you advertise 6 weeks lead time, it doesnt mean 7, 8, ++++ because you cant make an advertised commitment ! Did not fulfill 6 week lead time. 7 weeks later , NO communication as to order status or delivery date. Now its being suggested, my order may be in the next months production cycle. Unacceptable ! No followup call, nor message recvd, after inquiry. Asked for immediate order cancellation and total refund of my deposit.
I cannot figure out how to reply to a google review so I am changing mine. Go on fb mokai owners page. You send your deposit for a kayak. In 4 weeks Rick Murray will call for final payment saying the kayak is ready to ship. You will not get one. One guy spent 6k in 2023 and still is waiting. I had to challenge it with visa and get my money back after 5 months they investigated and took the money. There are countless horror stories every two weeks of another person sending a deposit.
