I ordered a rug with Modern Komfort and unfortunately it was back ordered for over 6 months. Despite this, the store made sure to keep me informed of the status and additional delays. Once I got my rug, the color was completely off and it did not match what was advertised online, which was, of course, not their fault. I contacted the store for a resolution and they immediately tried to rectify the situation and walked through the return process with me. They even sent me a rug bag so I could ship it back. We recently purchased a coffee table from this business. We worked with Ziba who was excellent ! All around positive experience. The delivery process was smooth . I really liked how you could follow the delivery driver on his route through the text . That was super helpful !
Modern Komfort has amazing pieces and the staff go above and beyond. I was worried about purchasing a sofa online but talking with the staff via email and by phone made feel like I was in the store. Emily was so helpful and I would buy the same sofa if I had more room in my condo. Gorgeous!
This review is long overdue. I’m giving Modern Komfort a 5-star rating for a number of reasons. Their curated home decor and fashion offering is pleasantly unexpected, especially in a market (Ottawa) that really is void of any style and/or originality. That said, if you look hard enough, you can purchase most of what they sell elsewhere…it is the 21 century after all and exclusivity is virtually impossible to achieve in most saturated categories of retail today. We were so so impressed with the awesome experience we had. Shae & Christelle were both very patient and thoroughly knowledgeable - which made the whole process painless and actually enjoyable.
