My iphone 7 had a faulty charging port, and after making some enquiries at mobile repair shops in the town centre, I was advised I needed a new port, costing £35 - £45. Instead I went to the Mobile Repair Store and the Owner advised it may only require a good clean, rather than replacing the port - cleaning it was all that was needed, and it was done in 30 minutes. It would have been very easy for the Owner to charge me for a new port, but was honest in just cleaning it, which cost about a 1/4 of the price of a new port from... read more
