I was told it was a genuine Samsung part and it ended up being a refurbished or second hand one it appears. My s23 ultra was sitting in the sun on my car dash and the glass literally cracked in front of my eyes without any physical force or otherwise. Certainly not characteristic of gorilla Glass. When I brought it back to them they indicated they couldn't do anything for me, so I went to an alternative shop and they indicated during repair, and showed me the refurbished sticker on the part, that it was not genuine. Kamal checked my phone charging port and actually helped me figure out the real issue. I was worried I’d need an expensive repair or full replacement (even with TELUS Device Care Complete, that could have been $150–$400 out of pocket). Instead, he discovered it was just the charger — a simple $40 fix. I left relieved, not upsold, and very impressed. Excellent customer service and honesty — thank you, Kamal! Definitely worth checking here first.
