If you love quirky spots, this one is a fun one. Inside an old freight elevator is a free museum of odds and ends depicting city life. It’s only open a few days a week, but you can always peek through the windows 24/7 to see everything in the small space.
Tucked inside an abandoned elevator shaft—this micro museum is unlike anything else in NYC . Founded by filmmakers, exhibits rotate constantly: a shoe thrown at George Bush, toothpaste tubes from Venezuela, subway dust you can actually smell . "A poem about humanity told through objects" .
