Nobody likes to end their vacation needing medical assistance to get home. But, if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation as we did, I highly recommend Mike and his company! My sister had a medical emergency on the Island of Maui. We live in Missouri and the stress of trying to get her home was overwhelming. That’s when the hospital recommended MM Medical Transport. Once I contacted Mike and his team they responded and simplified the entire process from plane tickets to handicap accessible transportation to and from the airport. We have now used MM Medical transport twice moving from Honolulu to Hilo. My wife has had multiple hip surgeries not available on the Big Island, so we have used Queens Medical Center on Oahu. Both times, she has been wheelchair-bound and unable to bear any weight on her right leg. The accompanying nurses have gotten her from the hospital in Honolulu to the seat on the plane and from the plane to the SNF rehab facilty in Hilo safely and with minimal distress. Mike runs an amazing company. It's a service you never even know you need, until you do. He was so calm and reassuring, scheduling everything for us and available constantly throughout the entire process. All we wanted was to get our dad home to be around his loved ones, and that is exactly what we were able to do. His RN Lehua treated our father like he was her own, with so much compassion and kindness. They are truly Angels, could not have asked for anything better.
