I’m a big fan of Missouri Meerschaum corn cob pipes, specifically the “Legend” straight bit because the bit is a translucent amber color, so you can see the build up. I use ball screens, not flat and generic paper filters. With the way I beat on these, one pipe will last about a month, but it’s good because they’re not expensive at all. It’s a suitable smoke for a regular guy.

As another individual has indicated, cobs as such should be considered “disposable”. Clearly MM view both their product and customers, as disposable. I’d urge potential customers to consider the nature of your disposability before spending sums of money here. The guy there had a really fun time sharing the town history and it's worth it to talk to him.
Unfortunately, after spending a considerable amount of money with them (3 separate orders, plus tobacco and other accessories), I cannot recommend doing business with them again. I recently purchased two of their "premium" offerings. Both were elaborately finished cobs with upgraded stems. The first was completely defective and unusable; the second had a minor flaw that I fortunately resolved on my own.
