Intersect Healthcare of Lamont has an incredible team. The staff work very hard to make the facility a home filled with love, patient-centered care, & fun activities.
I don’t even know where to start with this place. I’ve never seen such a dump of a nursing home. First let’s start with the 100’s of tiny ants all over the floor in my mom’s room…then the nicely located mouse trap in the lobby by the piano. My mom was there 2.5 days and it was 2.5 days too long. My mom had just had part of her colon removed and one kidney, she was supposed to be here just for post surgery rehab. Horrific! My mom was sent here for short term rehabilitation after colon surgery and removal of her right kidney. My dad got her there and there was no wheelchair available right when he arrived. He had to wait for someone to go and find one. The smell of urine permeated the halls. My mom was only five days post surgery and had been using a walker at the hospital when she got out of the bed. My family member was treated horribly by management. She had thousands of ants in her room!! If I could give a zero star I would because they don’t deserve one star. They just wanted her money.
