Thanks to Danielle for coming to Mission Oaks and making a difference in the resident in our Alf with the meals in the dinning room, with a new director, and new staff that cares about our residents. I want to thank Gary the manager of housekeeping for all he does to make it a nice clean place for our residents to live and families to visit. Mission Oaks has provided extraordinarily good care to my mother for over two years now. My mom is blind and uses a wheelchair, and the nursing staff are always kind and patient with her. Her room is kept very clean, and she is always nicely dressed by the nursing staff and greets me with her hair clean and combed. When she puts on her call light, the staff respond quickly. My Mother was a resident of this facility for 3 years. She had good care and the Activities Director and staff were beyond wonderful. She had many activities which kept her engaged. I felt very comfortable leaving her in their care.

Management is as sympathetic to the resident's needs as the nurses and other health professionals are even down to the receptionist. This is the place to go if your elderly parent or family member has any medical issues that require constant attention. After moving my own grandfather across multiple different assisted living places, this facility has no equal. The new management are very unprofessional. The office manager is rude, she talks down to the residents, their families and the staff. She doesn’t return phone messages and or emails. The new ED doesn’t seem like she can make a decision on her own without first consulting the office manager. We can see who really is running the company. Good employees are leaving the company because of this and other employees are being let go under false pretense.
