My 19 yo son, Zack Williams, was admitted Sunday Aug 10th with Diabetic Acidosis and had a Cardiac Arrest. The ER staff was super efficient and worked together so well. Then we were transferred to the ICU in the Heart Tower where we have been truly BLESSED to have Tina, Brittany, Amy, Michael taking care of my son. My sister was a recent patient on the Pulmonary Medical Step Down Unit. As a longtime nurse, I can truthfully say that the nursing and medical staff there was wonderful. They were so competent and compassionate in their care of her--and us--during a very sad and stressful time, and we, her family, will be forever grateful.
The hospital itself is great but like any place you have some who is having a bad day when you see them but for most it great
Don't like them if you do come in with a problem that don't won't to help or that red list you for no reason

I worked there for 12 years at the largest sweatshop in this right to work for less state. Administrators, physicians, MBA's take their profits off the top: RN's work nights, holidays, weekends, split shits, double shifts, extra shifts, call in's, Overtime, to piece a living together. RN's have neve been regarded with the professional staus they deserve, they ate stuck in the corporate healthcate culture as income generators for everyone else them.
