We came to mission hospital on 1/6/2015 to have our son delivered. We was scheduled for a 7:30am appointment and was greated at the door at 5am with a full team of doctors and nurses along with the labor and delivery staff. They was very quick at getting us processed. The full staff of surgeons and nurses and all who participated in the delivery came and gave us a full run down. Kept me in the hospital for 5 hours for what ended up being a 5 minute procedure. Charged me nearly 2000 dollars to remove a tiny speck of metal from my eye. Next time I will just gouge my eye out. Health care in America is not about you, it's about the money and nothing else. Thankfully moving out of the country.
My dad is in the fourth floor of the heart wing. I have been incredibly overwhelmed with the compassion and knowledge of the nursing staff. In addition, Dr Wolfe shows exceptional care and compassion. i am forever grateful !
Today we visited Mission ER. My attending doctor was Dr.Kevin Carpenter. He is the BEST! Very attentive, listens, caring & knowledgeable. Mission is lucky to have him on staff. He gave me time in his busy day. More doctors should slow down & CARE instead of racing between patients. We are there because we need HELP, not just to have a place to go. Remember why you are there like Kevin Carpenter. CARE!!!

The worst experience I've ever had in an E.R. I am a heart patient. They left me in the hallway for over an hour, even though there was an empty room in front of me, (not cleaned). They refused me an IV. I was de-hydrated. I did not have a call button. I did not have a heart monitor!!! They tried to give me an EKG right there in the hall, (where everyone could see my breasts). My son was miss treated... The nurse putting on the neck brace pushed and pull to aggressive. I told her told about the handling of the matter was wrong. My son was in a car crash the car mashed in. He left filling as if the Doctor did not look him over well.... No one should come out filling like the staff don't care . If that is your position to take care of people ... Please do right !!!!
Amazing hospital, great doctors, nurses, and nicu crew there is. Plus the food taste great.
