My mother broke her arm badly last year and, following surgery, we needed to make some adaptations to her home to enable her to manage independently. I contacted Miriam who visited my mother at home to conduct a full assessment. She made a number of very useful suggestions and recommended contractors who could carry out the work. I approached Miriam for help with an elderly relative with dementia who lives and wanted to remain in his own home. She did a thorough assessment of his needs and his home set up and made several recommendations to improve the safety and operations in his home.
