My 82 year old father was sold a very expensive set of hearing aids that he was unable to use. The doctor was well aware of the neuropathy my father suffers from in his fingers but insisted that if my father practiced putting them in and taking them out that it was a good fit for him. That was definitely not the case. Neuropathy does not get better with practice.
