My husband has been going deaf for a long time, but every time I brought it up, he said that I mumble! I finally convinced him to try Miracle Ear (which has an office a few doors down from one of our doctors) to get his hearing tested, as well as mine. The test showed that he is pretty deaf, of course, (which I could’ve told him that!). Jamie was so patient. He explained how he’s been deaf in one ear since birth. I made an appointment for a hearing test with Jamie Atkins at the Miracle Ear office in Marathon. He was very thorough and performed several hearing tests. I did not pass but am sort of in the middle of chart to where it's inevitable I will need a hearing aid in my future. He explained what to look for as to when I may be ready but also not to over wait as that could be harmful down the line. I am much more knowledgable now then before my appt. On vacation in the Keys. But something wasn't right. Corky, my wife, has hearing aids. The tubes inside the hearing aid were becoming blocked, more and more over time. We reached out to the Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Center. They saw Corky the very next morning. In a very short time Corky was back in the car exclaiming the improvement it had made. Thank you J. Atkins.
