Check you are actually getting the amount of gas you paid for. Today I stopped and put 6 on a pump to top off my gas tank. I pre paid with cash inside. The pump went up to 6 dollars as it was “dispensing gas” and said I had added 1.5 gallons. I started my car and my mileage did not increase. No actual gas went into my car. Inside I spoke to an employee who said maybe I didn’t start my car all the way and was suggesting it was my car not the pump.
