I can’t say enough to thank Carl for the outstanding job he did on our grandfather clock case. I was just planning to have the minimum done to freshen up a 100+ year old family treasure. But when Carl discovered the beautiful oak hidden under layers of dark lacquer, we opted to have it restored. Don quoted me a very reasonable price, and the clock was finished in time for my wife’s birthday. We are so pleased with the final result!

I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Don Butler and the team at Minuteman Furniture Restoration in Granby CT. I needed to restore a family heirloom, a Victorian parlor chair from the late 1800's. I called around for quotes and after speaking with Don, Minuteman appeared to be a great match. He is professional, knowledgeable, and an all around good guy. They replaced the seating, repaired the mahogany wood frame, and did a full reupholster. My parents table with a veneer top was dropped by the movers off the truck. The end of the table was crushed. I called Don and he explained the veneer table is a difficult repair. I was not surprised by his response, because several repair shops did not want to even attempt the repair. Don explained the repair and the repair came out beautifully. Thank you for your help on repairing my parents table.
