Came to Marty in quite a challenging period. At the outset I wasn’t sure if therapy was for me and almost felt a bit silly doing it. Marty dispelled all of that by just speaking on the same level as me, understanding my thoughts and concerns and speaking to me more as a qualified friend rather than a qualified therapist. Could not recommend him anymore. This is quite difficult to write. I found myself unable to cope with all the different pressures I was facing and unable to sleep at night. This lead to a breakdown in physical and mental health and to me being signed off work. I knew I needed help and after reading through a lot of profiles, I decided Marty Wilson was someone I could trust, that I would feel comfortable with. I have never had nor needed any therapy before. Marty helped my son with anxiety and getting the balance right with his sport training. He was very understanding and created a trusted atmosphere. Marty provided good advice and practical tools and tips to help change behaviour.

I'm really glad I booked up sessions for counselling with Marty. I wanted someone who was local so Google maps help me identify his company. I was a bit sceptical at first as to how counselling could help me but after a few sessions I started to feel the benefits.Marty had a non judgemental approach and has a good manner which helped me feel at ease which help us to get to the crux of what my issues were.
