Gary Barthel assisted/represented me in the long and tedious process of expunging my 14 year old felony convictions and proceeded to diligently assist in my petition for Certificate of Rehabilitation with the Supreme Court which was granted to me last week. 4 years ago I was facing serious consequences for an incident that changed the course of my career and life. I am a combat veteran, with 10 years of service. In the fall of 2020, I received a call from the Public Defender’s office asking me if I was going to use their services. I told her that she must have the wrong number. She confirmed that she in fact had the correct number.
