We were so happy to find a shop open on Sunday! It was our day off from our cycling trip and I had some mechanical problems with my speeds + we wanted to check and adjust the pressure in our tires. The owner is so nice, professional and friendly. If you need anything to be fixed on your bicycle while in Charlottetown, this is the place!
The owner is simply wonderful and highly accommodating. He is five stars on his own! My review is more on the rental side. Price was affordable. Bike options are currently limited (new addition to his shop) so ideally you'll want to call ahead or pop-in to see if it's a good fit for you. Helmet selection was limited to large, but I suspect the owner is going to add in a few new sizes after our visit (I have a small head so it was a bit comically large on me. J'ai rarement vu quelqu'un d'aussi gentil. Je suis arrivé pour acheter du WD-40 car mon frein avait un problème, avant de partir en bike trip. Il m'a ajouté gratuitement du WD-40 dans mon frein et s'est assuré qu'il fonctionne. Je lui ai ensuite acheté un cadenas, et il a tout de suite proposé de garder le paquet et une pièce dont je n'avais pas besoin pour m'alléger. Foncez dans cette boutique les yeux fermés, c'est vraiment un endroit qui mérite d'être reconnu.
While on a tour of PEI, my bike became basically unridable with the gears skipping continuously whenever I applied even a little bit of pressure on the pedals. I called from the National Park, and spoke with Jerod. I arranged to be there at 8:30 the next morning when they opened (Jerod even said he would wait that evening, well after closing time!). I was there at 8:30, Jerod had all the parts ready (new chain and cassette) and sent me on a walking tour of downtown Charlottetown while he fixed the bike. I was on my way again... read more
Had some trouble with my rear wheel and the owner was able to work on my bike immediately. Really nice people and cool selection of bike stuff. would highly recommend!
