Has got to be one of most corrupt, worthless counties in Texas. Raised my property taxes by 300% over the last couple of years while I was overseas working with the Army. Someone in thier office changed my address for notification so that I wouldn't recieve my notices. Now that I've hired a lawyer, my tax assessment will be accurate, but not before they've screwed me and refuse to help.
Absolutely does not answer the phone. Only 2 people working at window, resulting in long lines.
