Mikes reel repair is awesome. Cindy is very helpful with getting any parts you need. I have a high end diawa spinning reel that I use for coho. They were able to get my reel going in time for coho season. I highly recommend them for any kind of repairs or service you need.

I contacted Mike's Reel Repair in Canada by phone and spoke with Cindy. I sent Cindy a picture of my House of Hardy fly reel missing the drag screw. Cindy contacted several distributors and has them on order. I purchased the screw at an excellent price. Excellent customer service.

I went to Mike's Reel Repair today with a reel that seemed seized up. The lever drag was not activating. The reel goes into the back for.Mike to have a quick look at it. The reel comes back out and it is fixed! The problem was some loose screws, which Mike tightened up and I was good to go! To top it off there was no charge for that quick fix. They are so great to deal with!! All.my reels go to Mike's for service and repairs. Thanks Mike's!!

I was pleasantly surprised at both the customer service communication and the timeliness of shipping. Two things, the pinion gear I ordered was slightly different dimensions than the one I was replacing and would not quite fit in my Mitchell 300A, I was able to overcome this by increasing the thickness of the gasket to accommodate the extra thickness, so problem solved. I also found shipping quite expensive (fex ex) so I wish that they had a snail mail option to bring that cost down. Will definitely order again from Mike's R... read more
