Mike Schmidt at Mike's pro shop and his staff are absolutely wonderful!!! Bought a ball for our son who does Special Olympics bowling. Explained that he rolls it down a ramp and how he has been doing (about a 85 avg) He has had his ball for about a month and has increased to a 125 avg. Mike made him a trophy ( free of charge) with his name, high game and date. Will be back for ANYTHING bowling related. I highly highly recommend these guys. We're novices. We weren't pressured into purchasing high end gear, although the pro shop carries it. Instead we told them our skill level, and picked out what kind of ball we needed. Then they left us alone to pick out the ball design. After that we grabbed some shoes, and a pair of bags at a hefty discount since we were buying them all at once. I purchased several bowling bowls at Mike's Pro shop, for myself and my grandchildren. He provided great service and made reasonable recommendations for the grandchildren who are growing. They had a great time getting fitted for their own balls and had free bowling lessons. It was a fun experience and great values. The employees are fun loving and make it a very enjoyable experience, and it is an experience not just a boring trip to get a ball..but an exciting adventure with great professional assistance!
