Founded in 1946, Mike’s Pastry is located in Boston’s historic North End on Hanover Street. Michael Mercogliano (the “Mike” behind the famed Mike’s Pastry) created the one-of-a-kind cannoli that keeps loyal Bostonians and tourists coming from around the world to enjoy. Going to Mike’s has become a Boston tradition when in town whether visiting family, friends, sporting events, college, or any other event. We hope that you continue the tradition and come see us and grab a pastry.

Mike's will have a long line, but a broad selection! Growing up in Boston, my friends and family mostly took me to Mike's Pastry on Hanover. I've been going for a while. I got many cakes there, even the one for my high school graduation! Then one day I was walking down the street and some chubby actor or comedian was recording a video with a crew, and though he had a New York accent, he was familiar with Boston. And he says into the camera, loudly: "In Boston people say 'it's Mike's, it's Mike's, it's Mikes' and it is... for... read more
A North End legend for a reason Worth a trip into Boston. Incredible Boston Creme Pie- cake is moist, chocolate not too sweet and the creme is just right. A variety of authentic, and delicious, traditional Italian pastries. Can be crowded at times, but is usually well-staffed so everything moves smoothly. Prices are actually very reasonable. Parking can be difficult to find, but what do you expect in Boston?
I am a Bostonian and this is the best for Pastry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best in Boston for Pastry........ hands down, this is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
great Mike's Pastry Incorporated is a great place. The pastries here are truly fantastic. The pieces are very big and taste so good. You got a lot of choices of pastries to choose from. A lot of students really love Mike's Pastry. Too bad there is only one store of Mike's Pastry. It should really expand into a chain. I recommend the fruit parfait because it was downright aazing when I tried it. It is supposed to be a great place in Boston.
Decent Pastries Despite the Hype Mike's Pastry is renowned as the place for tourists to go to grab a cannoli when they are in the North End. Although the pastries are good, sometimes it does not seem worth the hassle to elbow your way to the counter for your pastry. There is also limited seated so be prepared to take your item to go or eat it standing up. There are other pastry shops in the North End that are just as good without the hassle.
You havent been to the North End if you havent been to Mikes For anyone planning a day in the city...you must stop at Mike's Pastry in the North End. This is the coffee and dessert store of all coffee and dessert stores. Dont be intimidated by the herds of people or lines. Once you see the display cases full of traditional italian desserts, as well as others, you will be amazed. Everything is reasonably priced. You cannot find a better canoli, eclair, or lobster tail in Boston. There is even a big picture of Bill Clinton at ... read more
get ready to wait Very crowded but worth the wait. They have so many choices you don't know where to begin. The cannolli is always a good start
Fantastic I was brought up in the West End, until they tore it down. Every birthday when I was young my dad would get me one of Mike's great Rum Cake's. I live across the United States now in Oregon and wish they would send their cakes out here. Even better I would be extremely interested in opening up a Mike's pastry out here. They are the best! PROS: Everything they sell is fantastic CONS: There is no Mikes Pastry in Portland, Oregon
World Famous Cannollis! To the locals of Boston, its considered a cardinal sin if you make a visit to the North End, or any where near, and do not make a stop at Mike's Pastry. Be prepared to wait in line, but the best things come to those who wait! The Cannollis here are to die for. Great place to get pasty if you are looking to impress special house guests or stock up. Calling in is always recommended because you will be waiting in line and parking is TERRBILE. Its nice little dessert place to stop, also, if you are planni... read more
