nurses really just needs better food and walls
My grandmother has been at this nursing home for about a year now. When she arrived she could not walk or even lift her arms. She was also put on hospice. About two months ago she was taken off hospice and has been going to therapy which has helped get her strength back and now she can walk a short distance with her walker! The employees I have encountered here have been very nice and helpful! They also have a ton of activities for the residents which I find great to get their spirits up! If you want your family member to die quickly send them to Mifflin!!! My family member went there for Rehab and was dead within 9 months. They said he was mentally incompetent but he wasn't mentally incompetent enough to sign a check that's all They cared about was getting his money. They were so happy that he was self-pay. He ended up catching pneumonia and was very sick he should have been at the hospital way before they sent him even the hospital said how did he get this sick the nurses weren't even shocked when they real... read more
Always attentive nursing staff. The weekend crew is very prompt. Friendly n caring. Always a fresh cup of water also.
Staff thus far Are Treating my father with respect and ensuring he is kept clean.
