Specialties: Miette specializes in handmade goods including costume accessories, headdresses and Carnival works of art. Established in 2010. New Orleans was founded in 1718 by the Kingdom of France so naturally our city has always had French embedded into the language. "Miette" is a French word meaning sweet crumb which is exactly how I see the store. I like to think of the store as a sweet little piece of New Orleans culture and creativity.

Stumbled upon this place after brunch and so glad we did. It was full of pieces from local artists and everything was cute in here. I would totally recommend checking them out. I bought a cute fan and it was def worth the price! The people who worked there was sooo nice!
I love this store filled with local art. The workers were so kind, letting me charge my phone while I browse. I brought a trinket here as a souvenir of my trip
Always has the cutest quirky things. The taxidermy rats are my favorite but there’s so many treasures!
Such a fun and unique shop full of interesting goodies and gifts! Definitely a great place for gifts or just something fun for yourself. I loved the totally weird selection of earrings!
