MIB rejected an incoming wire but refused to tell me why since I'm not their direct customer. They have control of my money but won't talk to me about it, asinine. Representative was polite but not friendly or helpful.
Absolutely reprehensible customer service. This is the first time I have been hung up on in my life. Similar to other reviews regarding this bank, my wire transfer was sent to this bank for another smaller bank. The wire was for a car payment, so it was a large amount of money, but it was immediately rejected by Midwest due to not having the smaller banks information (even though I had the car company's information. Ordered a 700$usd to pesos exchange through my bank they used MIB as the exchange bank and MIB lied about what the exchange rate really was… which resulted in a $100 usd difference… so they charged me 100$ usd fee for $700 dollars worth of pesos meaning I only got 600$ for my $700 … crooks! I understand a fee but to say the rate is different than what it actually is was wrong
