Piece of work . Bought a boat in 2022 and Dave screwed me . Kept the money and never paid the first lien holder . Since then have a boat that I can’t use and owe a lot of money on. Take this as a warning don’t trust anything he says
Be weary of the 5 star reviews. I never pay for boat work until pickup, but I saw the reviews of this place and their owner Dave came across very competent and trustworthy, so when he asked for payment in advance, I decided to trust him. I should have stuck with my principles… I have called Dave multiple times and I always get the same excuses. I’m told “It will be done this Saturday” and then months pass with no completion. I have used these guys for a variety of things over the years, most recently for storage. My boat has been there a couple of years at this point, I am grateful that it was kept safe and out of the way!
We had a disappointing experience working with Midwest Boat Service. They signed a lease agreement with us for storage space in our building, but the payment terms were not honored. Rent became overdue starting in the first month. We attempted to work with them and provided several extensions after being told payment was forthcoming.
