If you love and care about your family members, DONT let them go to this facility! My aunt was here after a surgery. This is not a rehab center, its a nursing home. Not enough nurses, especially after hours. We went every day and saw with our own eyes, business as usual. The food, I would not give to my dog. Physical rehab? Non existent. Bottom line, short staffed. Hand off management. Inactive and no visibility on a daily basis. Not proactive. After hours CARE again, your loved one can WAIT...and wait. We're very thankful that places like this exist to help with care. My family has been working with Hopkins for about two weeks and have had a good experience. The therapy staff has been excellent. The nursing staff and PCAs have been excellent. Our goal is to have our loved one be as independent as possible and Hopkins is absolutely helping with that goal.
My dad was a resident here and when I say they treated him like a king they treated him like a king! He came in unable to walk barely talk feed himself any basic self care and within a couple months he was walking , feeding himself again and back to independent. The staff is absolutely wonderful they even treated my kids like theirs and took them on walks gave them candy coloring books allowed them to hang with them while I tended to my dad.
