Cool items If you are looking for a unique gift you will not be dissapointed with your trip here. They have unusual toys, games, and trinkets and some too funny t-shirts that are either obscene or border on it. Great for gag gifts for friends and family or just a unique gift.
Neat Ann Arbor Shop During my undergrad years, I think I bought nearly every birthday present at Middle Earth. They have such a great mix of jewelry, picture frames, bath stuff, classic toys and great cards. They do carry novelty gifts (whoopee cushions and other gag gifts), as well. They also have a large section of Mexican Day of the Dead art.
Shop is filled with interesting items Step back into the 60's when you visit Middle Earth. If you are looking for incense, t-shirts and beads, look no further. This shop is filled with all sorts of unusual items and would be a great place to search for unique gifts. The staff is mostly comprised of students so do not expect superior customer service. Parking is also limited due to its location in downtown Ann Arbor.
The grandaddy of all Ann Arbor's hipster doo-dad stores! Middle Earth has been a major anchor for the S. University area for ... eons. Part of its enduring appeal is its ability to attract so many different kinds of buyers; one main area focuses on jewelry, while novelty toys (they always seem to be the first to pick up on gonzo trends like "boxing nun dolls") and gags appeal to others. Store tTat Has Everything This is a favorite for all Ann Arbor people. Store has lots of neat items like toys, candy, jewelry, cards to send to a friend, etc. This place has a huge inventory and prices are very reasonable since there main consumers are college students who tend to not have lots of money. The staff is very helpful when you need them. Place to go for a fun shopping experience!!!
Everything you need for that gift for someone special Middle Earth has everything you need if you need to give a gift for someone special. They have everything from rediculous t-shirts to ethnic crafts. There is a large greeting card and post card selection...and they also have a variety of jewelry and small purses. I particularly like many of the crafts and goods that are imported from other countries (like India and countries in Africa). They also have cute packaging items like cute gift bags and wrapping paper.
Ok This place does have alot of neat things, but Im afraid most of their items are a bit overpriced. The side of the store with t-shirts and novelty items are more appropriatly priced.
Eclectic selection and great gifts The best random store I've ever walked into. They have a great selection of off-the-wall and irreverent tee-shirts, "different" makeup including Sweet Georgia Brown line, hilarious cards, home decor, gags, jewelry and other items.
Fun gift items! Middle Earth is a great place to find gifts and fun little things to send to friends. Their selection of candy is cheap and fun. Things can be a bit pricey, but there's usually something cheaper to pick up.
