Midcoast Federal Credit Union is the most dependable bank I have ever had the honor to be a member of. They have never let me down. They have always been there for me when I needed them. I appreciate the way they take care of me; on line, over the phone, or in person, with any questions or concerns I have had, or may have, in the future. Their customer service is impeccable!
Service was fine, I just do not understand policy. I deposited a ‘treasurers’ check today. Aren’t those guaranteed? So why was it necessary to hold the funds for 4 days? The person deciding that reviewed my account history and said I had not received a check for that amount in the last year. What the heck does my banking history have to do with the validity of the check from another party? Then, the hold was supposed to be for 3 days but my account indicates it will be 4 days. I haven't lived in the area for a long time but I'm so happy to know my favorite employees are still taking care of my accounts. Whenever I have a question or need my account or cards looked at, Brea and Liza have always taken care of me. I honestly don't have easy access to this account anymore these days due to living ao far away, but these two are probably the biggest reason I keep my account open.
