The customer service at David Jones store is terrible. The manager “Anna” refused to serve me after she saw another customer who is mainland Chinese. Anna also took away shoes from me when I was trying them on for another customer despite me asking her not to do so. Addit- 6/8 Reply to customer service: Thank you. Thanks so much to the beautiful team at Midas who helped me replace a pair of shoes I lost in a fire. They went above and beyond and made my day :) Needless to say I adore the shoes!
Like the person below, I brought a sling heel that broke after wearing it only a few times. I took it to Midas at David Jones with my original receipt. There was absolutely no signs of wear on the sole of the shoe, but sales assistant Christina was incredibly rude, condescendingly calling me 'honey' and dismissing everything I had to say. Apparently according to Christina it's expected that a shoe would break within a year of wearing it regularly (which I hadn't even done). Nice shoes but poor quality, which is disappointing considering the price and the fact that their website boasts "uncompromising quality". I bought a pair of the Howlow sandals and within a few months the inside sole was showing signs of wear, with the black part wearing off, and then ultimately the strap broke after 6 months of wear.
