We started out with the business after attending the University of Hawaii at Hilo and commuting by bike to school every day. Fantastic family-run bike shop. Frank and Jerry were incredible in helping us for our ride up Mauna Kea. Didn’t have many supplies, so we rented a bike, helmet, pump, tube, tire levers, lights - everything. Their knowledge was critical to a successful trip. Thank you Frank and Jerry!
Mid Pacific Wheels! Talk about the "mecca" of the ultimate in bike riding, how to, support, repairs etc and the ultimate in customer service! These guys go "way back" and to me, if your from the old school, you just know how to "please" and "satisfy" a customer!! Again, I praise hard but I also critique hard when needed! These guys deserve not 5 stars but 10 stars! Enough said, go check them out and I guarantee you'll say "that contributor was all correct! Aloha;🤟🤟🤟
Always quick to help, answer questions, and offer service and advice. They have a neat curio case in the front of the store with of all the things they've found on the side of the road while commuting. The collection always draws my eyes to it and always seems to be expanding. As someone solely reliant on my bicycle to get to and from work (and everywhere else), in a city with only one bike shop and nowhere else to go for most supplies, I'm really happy Mid Pacific Wheels exists. I brought a 30 yr old bike in for its first ever repair shop service..Walked out with like a brand new bike , right on the estimate given for repairs very pleased with overall experience
