These “collectors” are extremely rude and aggressive. Making threats, calling me names, telling me I better go to church and pray. All this while my husband was passing away from cancer. Do they care l? No Yes they have a job to do we all do. Be respectful, go to church your damn self.

So I'm getting these calls. No one introduced who they were. Not a company, nothing. Yet want to Ask me to confirm my name and date of birth. They just say it's an important matter and can't talk more unless I confirm my name and DOB. Um, this is 2021 !!! I dont confirm my personal info over the phone. I may have fell for the scam in early 2000s. But you don't call me and ask me to confirm anything in 2021 when we clearly know what Identitytheft is and scams are!! The lady I talked to was nice but said she couldn't do anything about someone calling my father who is a vulnerable adult, can't take care of himself or me any decisions on his own. He dosnt remember anything. No income I'm power of attorney well they talked him into paying his debt off at 30% discount and he did which that was all the money he had for.rent which was due April 1st and the little extra he had for food.for the week they tpok.every last penny and nothing they can do about it.
