I was charged $700 for doing work on my outboard motor. When I got it back it was worse than when I brought it to them. Made a complaint against them with the Maine Attorney Generals office and the company refused to show up for mediation. Their service is the worse. Stay away.
Because they ripped a seat on a boat last year and 1 year later after it’s been dropped off last September and was said to be fixed, and when picked up in June Was not fixed. In fact wasn’t even touched. Claimed covid was the excuse. Covid wasn’t a thing untill March. You don’t ruin people’s boats and expect things to be okay. Absolute joke of a service department. Never go here. Morons couldn’t even put a battery in to be picked up and it’s June 17th .
On their website they claim "Mid-Maine Marine is known for great service, fair and honest sales" I can not say I agree with this self proclaimed honor. after speaking with a salesman, I was willing to drive 6 hours round trip to get to their dealership to look at a boat. I was told no one else was interested in the boat and convinced the trip would be worth my while. once going over the boat in person I assured the salesman that I was very interested in the boat and I made an offer very close to asking price. Stay clear of this place.. absolutely horrible service dept, and that is right from the owner on down. Kiss your butt to make the sale, then forget about it. I wouldn't buy an oar lock from the people again
Everything about them is terrible from customer service to repairs. Stay Away! Terrible place to have any boat work done! Save yourself money and headaches. Go Elsewhere!
Dear God... stay away from this place. They are amazing when you are buying but when you need service for your boat, the communication is lacking, the endless excuses begin, the customer care completely stops. Don’t do it!!!
I just had the worst experience at Hamlin Marine. I would not recommend them. I went into look for a trim solenoid and told them I had the part number. I was abruptly cut off and told “we can’t look up part numbers” and “that’s just not how it works.” It came across very condescending and very rude. I would never recommend anyone to go there for anything after the way I was just treated.
Just bought a new Lund from Mid Maine. There customer service was top notch! Ronald and Mark did a great job making sure I got just the boat I wanted and I was happy with it! I would recommend go in and talk to these guys if you are even thinking about getting a boat they are awesome!
