Bottom line is: expect to be ghosted as your deadline approaches. I recommend having a plan B in place if you’re going to rely on Mid Island Mortgage. I chose them largely based on their positive reviews here, but my experience was completely opposite. I suspect your experience largely depends on which of the brokers you end up with. Maybe the rest of them are fine. I just wish that if they didn’t want my business or couldn’t help me, they would have told me up front instead of risking my financial future.
