Stuff and more stuff! This is more than just a surplus store...although it is that too. They have tons of military surplus items, old and new, plus military patches, pins, and memorabilia. But they also have lots of outdoor gear and work clothes. Give yourself plenty of time when you visit this store so that you can wander through the maze of aisles and see everything. It's a great place to spend a winter afternoon...or any afternoon, for that matter!

Love coming here for all those odd wants/needs. As a firefighter this is my immediate go-to place for new boots. The selection here is superb and the staff is fantastic to work with. Everyone should discover this gem!

If you live in the KC Metro and have never been to Mickey's, you are culturally deprived! The place is an institution; it's also part museum, so don't just shop, but take in the stuff on the walls and around the store. And, in addition to military surplus, great camping gear, work- and outdoor clothing and one-of-a-kind items, and having KC's best supply/selection of paracord, they also still custom-make genuine dogtags (with your info) while you shop!
